Gingerbread Men

So, today I made Gingerbread Men.

We went out to eat at the Chinese restaurant. While eating, our conversation goes as follows:

Carly: You made the cookies?
Me: Yes
Carly: You baked them?
Me: Yes, they are all ready to be decorated.
Carly: You cut them out and baked them?
Me: Yes CARLY!
Carly: Where are they?
Me: On the counter.
Carly: What if they run away?
Me: They won't run away.
Carly: They are the ones with the legs?
Me: Yes.
Carly: What if they run away?
Me: They won't run away, we haven't decorated them yet. They don't have eyes.
Carly: But what if they do?
Me: They won't. They can't see where they are going.

About two hours later, after their bath.

Carly: When are we going to decorate the gingerbread men?
Me: Tomorrow
Carly: What if they run away?
Me: They won't, remember they don't have eyes.
Carly: But they are magical.

The mind of a 6 year old. The conversation continued through the night. All three girls were convinced the gingerbread men would run away. I have no idea where they got this idea.
